Privacy Policy

• Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and message content when you use a contact, visitor, prayer, membership, volunteer, or event registration form.
• Account information. If you create a member account, we store your sign-in email, display name, profile details you choose to add, and any ministry roles assigned to you by church staff.
• Giving information. Records of pledges and contributions you submit through the site. Full payment card numbers are never stored on our servers; card processing is handled by a PCI-compliant payment processor.
• Technical information. Standard server and security logs such as request timestamps, browser type, and IP address, used to keep the site available and to prevent abuse.

• To respond to your questions, prayer requests, and visit plans.
• To provide member accounts, ministry sign-ups, event registration, and online giving.
• To send church communications you have asked to receive, such as announcements.
• To keep accurate contribution records and meet legal and accounting obligations.
• To secure the site against spam, fraud, and unauthorized access.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing. We do not publish prayer requests, giving amounts, or contact details publicly unless you have explicitly asked us to.

We use a small number of trusted vendors to operate the site — including cloud hosting, database and authentication services, email delivery, embedded maps, and embedded video from YouTube. These providers process data only on our instructions and only as needed to deliver their service. Embedded video is served in privacy-enhanced mode wherever available.

The site uses essential cookies and local browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your display preferences, and resume sermon playback where you left off. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.

Our children's and youth ministries collect information about minors only from a parent or legal guardian, through in-person or guardian-completed registration. We do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact the church office and we will delete it.

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in access-controlled systems with row-level security rules that limit each record to the people authorized to see it. Administrative access is restricted to designated church leadership, and sensitive files are served through short-lived, signed links. No system is perfectly secure, but we review our safeguards regularly.

Contribution and membership records are retained as long as required for church recordkeeping and applicable tax or legal obligations. Contact form submissions and prayer requests are retained only as long as needed for pastoral follow-up. You may ask us to delete anything not subject to a legal retention requirement.

• Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
• Ask us to delete your information or close your member account.
• Unsubscribe from church email at any time using the link in any message.

Our site links to outside resources such as video platforms and giving partners. Once you leave hallelujahbaptist.com, this policy no longer applies; please review the privacy policy of the site you are visiting.

We may update this policy as our ministries and technology change. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced on the site.
