Pastor George D. Steele, Sr. was called to the gospel ministry and ordained in the Baptist church. He has given his life to the local congregation — preaching the Word, teaching believers, visiting the sick, burying the dead, and standing with families through every season. At Hallelujah Baptist Church he leads Sunday worship, midweek Bible study and prayer, and the ministries that carry the church's witness into High Point.
His preaching is plain, biblical, and pastoral: Scripture opened, Christ lifted up, and the congregation sent out to serve. He is committed to a church where the young are discipled, the elders are honored, and every member has a place to serve.
